Obituary

Alfonzo “Ray” Coley, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2013, at Kitty Askins Hospice in Goldsboro, North Carolina. “Ray” was born September 27, 1943, in Wayne County to the late Harvey and Georgianna Holt–Coley.  “Ray” is survived by four brothers, William Coley, Marvin Coley, L.D. Coley all of Goldsboro, North Carolina, and Nathaniel Coley of Dudley, North Carolina; four sisters, Beatrice Williams of Eureka, North Carolina, Louvenia Lane, Minnie Hamilton, and Emma Wooten all of  Goldsboro, North Carolina. Additional survivors include numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.

Miss Me But Let Me Go
Sometimes it''s hard to understand,
Why some things have to be.
But, in his wisdom, God had planned,
Beyond our power to see.
So looking back in tenderness
Along the paths we trod,
Cherish the time you had with me
And leave the rest to God.
