Life Story for Henry McEachern

Filled With Life…

On October 9th, 2014, a handsome Angel was called to the skies to watch over us. Henry DeVonta “Solo” McEachern was born October 24, 1993 to Stephanie McEachern and Patrick Mark McCoy. Born in Fayetteville, North Carolina, he was the third of six children.

Henry was a very rate and unique person and dear to our hearts. He would always find a way to make you smile and laugh even on your worst day. He battled with Leukemia for two years, while his family and friends stood by his side. The fight he put up was a strong one, he was a tough guy.

Henry struggled with being a model citizen, but that didn’t stop him from doing the right thing. He received his GED and continued to try to better his life before cancer took over.  Henry leaves to cherish his memories: two devoted and loving parents; three sisters, Shaerka McEachern, Carolyn “KaKa” McEachern, and Patrice King; five brothers, Robert Clifton, DeMarko McEachern, LaMarcus McEachern, Pierre McKoy, and Patrick King; maternal grandparents, Caroyln and Henry McEachern; paternal grandparents (deceased) Hester and Kitty McCoy; three uncles, Henry “Boo Boo” McEachern, Rayvon, Mack; one aunt, Xzinthea Nevels; one nephew, Damar McEachern; Second mother, Cheryl King; loving girlfriend, Jayla Jones; best friend, Ronnie “Rizzo” Stearns; and a host of close family members and friends.

 Son

As your mother I never thought this day would come. I’m lost without you. I miss your smile, your laugh, and you just sitting up under me. I just miss you. Today has come for me to say good bye to one of my babies which is the hardest thing for me to do.

I LOVE YOU SOLO YOU WILL NEVER BE REPLACED OR FORGOTTEN! I KNOW YOUR IN NO MORE PAIN.

For Solo…

My heart is broken, since you’ve been gone away. But I know you’ll be watching over us every day. Your laugh kept me sane, your smile warmed my heart. I never knew that the day would come that we’d be apart. I wish I could be with you one last time. You will never be forgotten, you’re always on my mind. I love you with all my heart, and that’s a fact. I miss you SOLO, I just want you back. -Love your big sister,
